27/07/2010 12:29:04
There will be a memorable experience on offer to West End visitors next month when a giant maze opens in Trafalgar Square.
The maze will be free for members of the public to visit from August 2nd to 6th.
Located beneath Nelson's Column, the temporary installation will help visitors learn more about the history of the West End and some of its most famous locations.
Well-known sites such as Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Oxford Street will be recreated within the maze, as well as the winding lanes of Soho and Carnaby Street.
Those who reach the centre will be able to experience some of the culture, entertainment and culinary experiences on offer in the West End, with different activities taking place on each of the five days.
A visit to Trafalgar Square also provides the opportunity to explore the National Gallery and see the church of St Martin-in-the-Fields.
