West End ticket booth announces free giveaway

The tkts theatre ticket outlet in Leicester Square has announced a free giveaway to celebrate its 30th birthday.
West End visitors should head to the booth on August 10th to pick up some free tickets for London shows.
People hoping to take advantage of the offer will have to be quick, as the tickets will go to the first 30 people in the queue.
Scratch cards will also be handed out in Leicester Square on August 10th and 11th, offering the opportunity to win a variety of theatrical prizes.
The tkts outlet has sold some 10.9 million tickets to more than 1,200 productions over the past 30 years, meaning it serves one in every 39 people going to see a West End show.
Operated by the Society of London Theatre, the booth puts all of its profits back into the theatre industry to fund all sorts of activities and initiatives to boost audience numbers and support young producers and actors.
